Helpful school advocacy training

The school advocacy training was clear and concise. It gave me good strategies to use. Access was easy. Content was relevant. Would recommend for parents.

Great value with the trial

I decided to try The Portal after seeing the membership trial, and I'm really glad I did. Getting that initial discount made it much easier to commit. The collaborative problem solving guides alone were worth it. I was a bit hesitant at first, wanting to make sure it was money well spent, and this trial really proved its value. It felt like a smart investment for the resources I got.

Good content, minor website issue

I purchased the 'Burnout Prevention for Carers' masterclass last week, and the content itself was really helpful and well-presented. Nicola Reekie definitely knows her stuff, and the strategies offered were practical. My only small issue was with accessing the recording; it took a couple of tries to get the video to load properly on my tablet. Once it started, though, it was smooth. Overall, good value for the price and definitely offered some emotional support for parents, which was what I needed.

Consistent, reliable resource

This was my third time purchasing access to a neurodiversity workshop from The PDA Space, and as always, it delivered. I've been a member for over a year and previously did their PDA training course. The quality of content and the practical strategies shared are consistently excellent. They always provide clear, actionable advice, which is why I keep coming back. My last workshop, on sensory processing, gave me some great new insights.

Absolutely essential support!

I just joined The PDA Space membership this month, and it's already making a huge difference! The community forum is so supportive, and the resource library is packed with information. I've learned so much from the expert Q&A sessions. It's exactly what I needed. I'm telling all my friends who are also parenting kids with PDA about this, and I'll definitely be renewing my subscription next year!

If I sign up for a workshop and miss the live session, are they recorded so I can watch it later? My schedule is a bit crazy.

M Mark Hernandez 1 month ago
Yep, all the workshops are recorded. You can access them later in the resource library, so no worries if you can't make it live.

I've missed a couple myself and always found the recordings available pretty quickly. Super helpful for busy parents, for sure.

Is The PDA Space legit? I've seen a few other places offering similar things, just want to make sure it's a good place to invest my time and money.

D Daniel Taylor 1 week ago
Totally legit. Nicola Reekie is well-known in the PDA community. The resources are really good, and the support in the community forum is invaluable. Made a huge difference for us.

It's legit. Not a replacement for therapy but the practical strategies and understanding are top-notch. I was a bit skeptical too but found it incredibly helpful for navigating things at home.

Thinking of trying out The Portal. Can I cancel the subscription easily if it's not a good fit for me or my family?

Z Zach R. 1 month ago
Yeah, cancellation is pretty straightforward. I think you can just do it through your account settings. No hoops to jump through.

I cancelled a while back to take a break and it was easy. Just go into your account. No fuss.

how does the portal compare to like, the PDA Society's resources? just wondering if it's worth getting both or if there's a lot of overlap.

M Matt Rivera 1 week ago
I've used both. The PDA Society has some great info, but The Portal feels more like hands-on, practical strategies for parents. More about what to *do* day-to-day. Less academic, more 'in the trenches' support, if that makes sense.

I think The Portal is much more focused on direct parent support and building a community. PDA Society is awesome for information and advocacy, but The PDA Space has that emotional support and very specific guides you might not find elsewhere. They complement each other, but if you're looking for practical tools, The Portal probably gives more.

Hey, thinking of signing up for the membership. Does anyone know if there are any current discount codes floating around? Or if they do sales often?

M Matt H. 3 weeks ago
I signed up a few months ago and didn't see any sales then. I think they sometimes send codes out in their newsletter for specific stuff, but it's not super common for the main membership from what I gather.

Yeah, discounts are pretty rare. I got a small one for an early bird workshop once, but that was like a specific event, not for the general membership. Best bet is probably the newsletter if you're hoping for something.
